baking to do.

busy night last night baking and packaging. overslept this morning, but, luckily, j had a pajama party today, so it was wake up and go!

have more baking to do, but love, love, love it.

made these::

hello dolly bars::my mom gave me this recipe years ago. the same recipe happens to be on the can of evaporated milk. not an ancient chinese secret i guess!

peppermint bark:: j’s hooked on these. he has learned that “please” gets him a lot, but not too much of this!

chocolate fudge::easiest recipe ever, also on the can of condensed milk. does anyone else lick the can? i love, love, love it.

left to do:

lemon bars

chocolate chip cookies {image and recipe via sunset}

madeleines, my favorite cookie EVER.

marcel proust says of the madeleine, “I raised to my lips a spoonful of the cake . . . a shudder ran through my whole body and I stopped, intent upon the extraordinary changes that were taking place.”
exactly! yum!

i will be ATTEMPTING to make these french almond macaron/macaroons from martha stewart.

one last holiday shindig to attend and i will be making this.

sunset did it again. they have so many recipes to choose from but i narrowed it down to the orange trifle.

looking forward to a weekend of sleeping in, cuddling, watching elf and it’s a wonderful life AGAIN, listening to christmas tunes, enjoying the hustle and bustle of the mall, visiting with friends and family, and taking drives to see cozy homes with twinkling lights.

have a wonderful weekend!
